Challenge and GT Days at Classic Driver – Ferrari’s client racing legends reclaim their territory in Monza

Our Challenge and GT Days event covered at Classic Driver

The Challenge and GT Days return to the Temple of Speed. On May 20 and 21, 2026, the Autodromo Nazionale Monza becomes the stage for Ferrari’s privately owned racing icons. From the 348 Challenge to the 296 GT3, witness the raw symphony of Italian racing history where it truly belongs: on the track.

When the gates of the Autodromo Nazionale Monza open on May 20 and 21, 2026, the air will once again be filled with the unmistakable roar of Italian racing engines. Returning to its current home for the 9th edition, the Challenge and GT Days have established themselves as the ultimate pilgrimage for Ferrari racing enthusiasts. The event was held for six years at the Austrian Red Bull Ring before moving closer to the hometown of the Prancing Horse in 2024.

While the event maintains its character as an exclusive gathering for friends and family, the focus remains firmly on the track. Monza’s legendary straights and demanding chicanes provide the perfect stage to unleash the full potential of these machines, which often sit idle in climate-controlled garages. Without any noise limits, participants can experience the raw, unfiltered symphony of Ferrari’s GT history. The schedule is packed with intensity, offering every group extensive track time, reaching up to a combined 400 minutes for the dedicated racing classes.

he grid is a breathtaking display of power and heritage. From early pioneers like the 348 and 355 Challenge to the sophisticated aerodynamics of the 488 GTE and the brand new 296 GT3, every era of Ferrari’s Corse Clienti spirit is represented. A special highlight remains Group 4, where the Endurance Racing Legends of the 90s and 2000s, including the iconic Maserati MC12 and fierce competitors from McLaren and Porsche, reclaim their territory on the tarmac of Italys most famous racetrack.

Off track, the excellence continues with an exclusive Gala Dinner by Scuderia GOHM in the heart of the pit lane and a bespoke Bang & Olufsen limited edition speaker designed specifically for the Monza event.

For those who wish to finally drive their Ferrari race cars as they were intended, limited spots are still available. Since the organizers prioritize a high level of originality and condition, a selection process is in place to curate this world class field. Secure your place in the Monza pit lane by April 20th and become part of this extraordinary racing tradition.
