A topic worth to further elaborate is the question why there is a significant gap in value between Porsche Cup cars (964, 993) and challenge cars (348, 355). A 964 Cup car trades between 250 and 300k also the street legal RS without race pedigree. A multiple of a normal street legal 964/993 car. Will this gap ever persist or could this be closed and what do you think needs to happen in the latter case?
Simple

Porsche supports their entire customer base any way they can

Ferrari could care less about a 348 or 355 owner

Hers an example, porsche just opened this around the corner from me

Right!exact! I also think of myself as Socal, the philosophy of porsche is different.
I think, however, that this gap between the porsche cup and the Ferrari challenge is exaggerated, as in my opinion the value difference between 348ch and 355ch is still somewhat exaggerated.
We'll see after the auction, and anyway the 348ch are cars that are already buying a lot of interest in recent years.

Unfortunately, this also derives from the very bad "fame" of 348, as a car base: from the fault of montezzemolo?, for the market of those years?, for the superior of the competitors? ... we do not know why for sure, but I believe that in any case there is always a Ferrari, and in my opinion, the last with the "old, classic" Ferrari lines.

I like it, and I can say that a real 348challenge, 90% in race preparation like in 1993, gives today beautiful and strong driving sensations ...
It's not the fastest car today, it does't have a lot of HP, etc ... but it's PURE, dry, directed ... and you can feel it on the steering wheel at every turn.
the engine screaming in all cockpit.
And it is also a great compromise to have fun without having to be always on the limit of risk or professional pilots.

In spite of everything, it is agile, fun and has a sound that only Challenge race cars have.

All the features that are sure to have 355challenge, which are the "modern daughters" and "racing" of the 348challenge.
I do not know if this is enough to justify the price gap, but i love them.

Nice story, thanks! Do you have any racing pictures of the last two cars (the yellow 'first' and the first winner)?

Great shot! A picture with true patina. Interesting is that #12 is a TS. Would be interesting to learn how it got homologated and as a matter of fact the factory challenge cars were always TBs.

I think it was only a question what the owner ordered, wants.

Luca how many TS Challenge are built? 5?
