Check the YouTube video, sounded like 48K to me, I assume not shortening 148K (probably unrealistic!). Presumably it didn't sell at that price? Right now it's -1hr 16mins on the YouTube feed!

well, we don't know much about the condition of this car - one may easily spent another 30 to 40k to get it in a nice and drivable state... then 48k woudln't be too bad... hopefully we will learn more about this car someday

anyway...i saw the video of auction more and more...and for me, the speaker says "hundred forty eight and seven pounds" ...148 not 48...
...48 sounds too strange and wrong...but is only my sensetion listened :)

I know 48k is cheap yes a very well bought car

USA value. The way the USA thinks is this is not a challenge car just a 348 that was converted to race.
Challenge cars came out in 1994, anything prior to that is just a 348 that was raced.
We call these "clone cars" Clones (copies) of something rare and desirable. Clone cars can bring decent money usually around 50-60% value off the original, this can vary according to options.

Just wanted to put the insight form a collector here in the USA :)
