Lets talk about the new Ferrari 488 Challenge

In Dezember Ferrari will present official the brand new Ferrari 488 Challenge, the next Generation of the successful Ferrari Racing Series.

More and more Infos are poping up, so I tried to put them together.

First of all, the car looks amazing, IMO. It looks very similar to 488 GT3 but even nicer and meaner. I might even buy one and put in the garage

Here are the technical details and differences to the old Challenge car

- Totally new aero kit very similar to GT3 car
- Inconel exhaust system
- Lighter engine and gear box
- Lithium battery
- New and more racing oriented steering wheel
- Rear view camera and display instead of mirror
- 1.5 sec faster than 458 Challenge in Mugello and 1 sec faster in Fiorano

These are things that I remember, I might have missed some other details or maybe not %100 correct.

What will be the price of the Challenge?
The Challenge will be shown to drivers on Wednesday and Thursday in Daytona at the world finals and to the general public during the Weekend.
