This is one about a Swiss gentleman driver who, with his exotic blonde wife, became a familiar sight on the racetracks of Europe in the early 1960s at the wheel of a distinctive Ferrari granturismo. It?s a car we?ve come to know well, having supervised its painstaking rebirth after years of neglect and finding it a new home in 2016. You?d think that an amateur pairing from a country not associated with motorsport might have been happy minding their own business at the back of the grid. But you?d be mistaken.
