Best Ferrari for Beginner

I am dreaming of owning a ferrari, since a was a young boy.
Now, that i am a little bit older, i am thinking about buying one.

my question: wich Ferrari would be the best choice for a beginner.

what would you say?

i own a 1980 308.
my first ferrari.
and so far from what i can see and heard from other people the 308's and 328's are good buys.

the most important thing is: do research!
figure out what you want to spend on parts and service.

and no matter what you decide to buy, you will be happy with it. its a ferrari!

308: pro: mechanically simple, marvellous design, vintage interior, limited depreciation, already classic. contra: relativ lack of power when driving in a ruck with modern Fcars. when driving alone, you don't feel a lack of power . choose either a carbed version, or a QV. preferably a GTB. there only about 800 308 GTB QV built...
360: pro: great fun to drive. contra: mass-produced, depreciation may go on a little (but not too much).
348: "wooden wheels" (Jeremy Clarkson)... - I have no experience with it. there are some liking it extremely, and it may be the next "classic" Fcar. difficulties include the here expensive engine-out cambelt job.

in brief, it is a matter of taste and envisaged use...
anyway, a Ferrari is big fun, but there is need for some money in reserve...

Three five five cars are very desireable and give so much fun!
Even a stock Berlinetta is so much fun on the track, I wish one day to own a 355 Challenge legend.

I know, i know...who buys cheap, pays more in the end. Especially with a ferrari.

The 355 sounds (and looks) interessting.

How much money should i plan to have as security for repair and other costs?
Are ~25% of the purchase price enough?

But I think still cheap because they have fantasy to become the next legends from Ferrari

Take the 360 6-speed. It is car without problem if the pre-owner did always maintenance and oil chance.
Serivce costs are not so high - enough power. I would recommend this.

Owned also an 308 carburettor. Great and beautiful car - meanwhile not a car for a Ferrari beginner.

Problem of the 348. Longtime it was the starter Ferrari in the hobby. It is very difficult to find a good clean car.
A lot of cars was in hands of owners they "don't love" the car and/or not enough money in the pockets for perfect service.
